urgent warning - read now

To English gardeners - in Surrey we have 2 degrees forecast for tonight. If like me you have put tender things out, you might like to put something over them or bring them in if possible.

  1. Hi Emily, thanks for the warning. We had a bad frost here this morning, luckily nothing got damaged. Your garden is really looking good. I am still working on mine. I must post some photo's sometime.

  2. Hello Maureen - I hope it froze the slugs! We missed a frost, but I brought the lime tree back inside anyway (I don't think it likes it below about 5). I'm keeping the greenhouse open now whatever though, because things in that are all going out over the next few days, and they're looking good and strong.

Thanks for the compliment, and I look forward to seeing pictures!

  3. Hi Emily Thanks for the warning but I have been so behind with reading posts. Thankfully we were lucky and no frost or harm done.

  4. We were clear up here last night but we did get one on saturday night. Just pleased my marrows are still in the greenhouse. We have a possibility of thunderstorms later, whoopee.
