Writing

Hello all. Sorry it's been so quiet on here lately. I will be adding a few items to my writing blog over the next couple of days. They're not new but they have appeared elsewhere and I want to gather them together.

I will be back here to write about gardening shortly.

PS Erm, apologies if the first isn't quite what you expect to read of me. It's actually very tame by my standards but I know expectations and context make a big difference. Hopefully it's OK.

  1. Well, well! So it's not all weeding in your garden! Nice Valentine post.

  2. Hello again, It's not very much weeding at all at the moment frankly but that will all be changing from tomorrow...

  3. Oh Emily, you're back - well, almost. I really miss you loads. You know I need you to keep an eye on me in the garden, Anyway thanks for the comment and hope to see you again soon. By the way, don't worry about the blackfly as I'm sure the whitefly, aphids, vine weavil, mouse or some other wonderful thing that nature provides us with will see them off. Bob.

  4. Thanks for the note on the blog. I've called back here from time to time to see if anything is stirring and, probably with even greater enthusiasm because it's such an original idea, to your Nation of Shopkeepers).

Glad you are around and spring is springing. Your lawnmower speaks of summer as much as of a little nudge to know there are other people around out there.

  6. Oh Emily you are such a tease tempting us with promises of a glorious comeback and yet every visit leaves me unfulfilled as though it were the Daffodils that are threatening not to bloom this Spring.

  7. Ah so I'm not the only one in thinking there's something odd about the daffodils! It's going to be another spring like the one about 3 years ago - do you remember which, when the daffodils and the wisteria were out at the same time? It was amazing. Might be a bit longer ago than that (it usually is) - we had all of spring and the start of summer all at once, falling over each other. Today's post is in preparation now!
