Spotted at Wisley



This was my favourite dahlia at Wisley, and this is where I saw it (worth clicking on to enlarge:

I don't normally like these but I think they look amazing en masse:

  2. I never get to the trial fields at Wisley. By the time I've looked at all my favourite bits (the Hobhouse garden, the rock garden, the vegetable garden, the Tom Stuart Smith planting round the new glasshouse) the siren call of the plant centre is too strong to resist. Next time!

  3. I haven't walked down to the trial beds for some years as I couldn't but now I can walk again properly I must make time to go and look before the summer's out.
    I agree with your remarks on my Maize maze post regarding the children.
